The Poor isn't just bums walking the Streets. These people were at the 2007 Thanks Giving dinner in Ventura County, just miles from one of the richest communities in the Nation. SHAME ON YOU.
I was a Bush base person and like all the recent Presidents, Bush has disappointed me too. We get all the promises but I really thought Bush would have done more in his 8 years.
Some of the things ignored that really affect us:
CRIME- With Murder rates going through the roof, I don't see any help from the White House or State Governments. 99 percent of the Murders in Orlando were conducted by repeat criminals who happened to be all black offenders. Philadelphia Police Chief has already admitted that the Criminals control the streets and that in the minority community, he is asking for 10,ooo patrol volunteers. And the Civil rights leaders are fighting him. Orlando, for example, has taken steps to make sure the public thinks the crime is not in the Tourist area's. But that was exposed when the murders and robberies were running up to new levels in Mouse land.
BLOATED GOVERNMENT- We all know the waste in Government agencies but no one streamlines it. Some have estimated the waste and fraud in agencies like the Department of Defence, Department of Energy and State Department is horrible. For example, even though the Federal Trade Commission has broad powers to protect consumers, little is done in Corporate Fraud, Identity theft, and consumer protection. They ask you to submit the complaint and yet nothing ever happens. Inept and waste in US Government has to end. Saving about $500 Billion is easy to do.
HELPING THE POOR: From the US inner city where children go hungry in the US while People are in line in Christmas shopping is a scare on this country. Appalachia is worse than 4th World Pakistan and India in Poverty and Hunger. This is a shame long ignored. In one special on ABCNEWS, a child was helped out of poverty after viewers saw his plit He knew nothing about Lunch and Breakfast and what one is to eat. He sometimes went to bed hungry and never received medical care. Shame on the Congress and so called Rep of each of these districts. One Florida rep contacted me for campaign donations and I took him to the poorest part of his district and he thought it unsafe to even exit the car. I told him "fix that and I will contribute" . I never heard from him again. In 2008 I will contribute to any candidate to oppose him. HE wont get a job at Wal-Mart as a greeter when I get done with him.
Many more problems that need fixing.
